Bar Manager - Midnight Rambler

As Midnight Rambler Bar Manager you will be responsible for the everyday running of the cocktail bar/lounge operations, and will be passionate about providing a memorable experience to our guests. You will thrive to inspire and lead Midnight Rambler’s team of enthusiastic associates as you will play a key role in the training and development of all staff. You will also emphasize on delivering high standards together with efficient, genuine and professional customer service.

Essential Job Functions

• Interview, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values.
• Ensure that drinks quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications.
• Create and implement beverage menu changes and seasonal cocktail menus.
• Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food in outlet.
• Resolve guest complaints and coordinate with other department leaders to resolve service delivery quality breakdowns.
• Follow up on work orders so repairs and maintenance of the facility are completed on a timely basis.
• Document inventory forecast usage and monitor supply.
• Oversee serving staff to ensure proper liquor controls are in place and all Hersha cash handling policies and procedures are followed. Comply with all Hersha accounting policies in order to ensure SOX compliance.
• Participate in marketing efforts of the bar/club, create menu ideas, survey competition and report beverage trends, and assist in preparation of specials.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Associate degree preferred.
• 5 years bar experience preferred.

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule varies and will include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
