Job Responsibilities:
- Work with special needs students providing behavior and academic support and assist in implementing an effective educational programs for the students assigned by their case manager/behaviorist.
- Assist in providing instruction and meeting special needs which includes feeding, toileting, positioning, and monitoring health conditions of physically/emotionally handicapped students.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer one (1) year of experience working with children with special needs.
- Satisfactory completion of the California High School Proficiency Examination (Basic Skills Assessment Test).
- First Aid Certificate including CPR.
- TB test clearance and Criminal Justice Fingerprint clearance (will be obtained during onboarding process)
