What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at The Judge Group?
Our client is currently seeking a Production Supervisor (1st shift) for their manufacturing facility in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Directs work group or department to assure on-time production and/or delivery.
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of 25 FTE employees
- Selects and trains employees to produce at standard-and-above efficiency.
- Maintain quality standards.
- Responsible for maintaining high employee morale and positive relationships.
- Recommends changes or improvement in methods, equipment, handling or lay-out.
- Drive a lean / continuous improvement culture to increase efficiencies
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3 years' supervisory experience in manufacturing is required
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus!
- Lean/Kaizen/Continuous Improvement experience is highly preferred
- Union experience is a plus!
- Open to working 1st shift
