Job Description:
The Lane Construction Corporation is a leading U.S. construction company specializing in the transportation, infrastructure and energy industries. Lane's unique combination of capabilities includes public-private partnerships/innovative financing and joint ventures; large, complex design-build and bid-build projects; and the ability to produce and install asphalt, aggregates and concrete.
The Lane Construction Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Grading Foremen for our McLean VA location. This position will report to the Superintendent(s) and will utilize common concepts, practices, and procedures.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Check / Cut Grade
- Supervise earthwork and hauling operations
- Manage the work and crew, including conducting daily Job Hazard Analysis’
- Work with field personnel
Qualifications:
- 3 years of grading experience
- 3 years of managing experience
- Effective verbal and written communication are essential, and computer skills are preferred
- Able to work independently, while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- High school diploma or its equivalent is preferred
- Must be able to pass a drug test and Motor Vehicle Record check with minimal infractions

Pay: $78,000.00 - $98,800.00 per year
