Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter/Laborer to join our team. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for various painting and labor tasks, including fixture installation, remodeling, frame carpentry, and general maintenance person duties. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in construction painting, plastering, carpentry, stucco, and concrete finishing.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes and cracks, and sanding surfaces
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Mix and match colors to achieve desired results
- Install fixtures such as shelves, cabinets, and doors
- Perform remodeling tasks such as drywall repair and installation
- Assist with frame carpentry work as needed
- Complete general maintenance person tasks including minor repairs and maintenance
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction painting, plastering, carpentry, stucco, or concrete finishing
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques and tools
- Ability follow instructions accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements
Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.
