What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor Maintenance position at The Learning Experience?
MONDAY - FRIDAY 3PM-11PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming -Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash, recycling bins, dust and wipe down surfaces
- Keep track of cleaning/miscellaneous supplies
- Maintain cleanliness/appearance of outside surroundings
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor plumbing issues and do preventative maintenance on a regular basis
- Handy with small repairs and painting/touchups
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications/Skills:
- Previous experience in janitorial or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, including buffing and waxing floors
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment (floor/carpet cleaners)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
