What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Remodel Construction Site Superintendent (East Coast) position at The LFS Group?
The LFS Group is looking for Traveling Retail Superintendents that have extensive experience in leading field operations for retail remodel construction projects!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all work performed at the construction site. Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor.
- Execute and manage the project schedule and budget.
- Work with supervisory personnel and employees, engineers, architects, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers to maintain budget and schedule constraints and to resolve construction issues
- Review plans and specifications, inspecting work and overseeing contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Communicate and enforce Safety Program, leading by example
- Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients
- Attend and participate in project meetings
- Provide regular jobsite progress and safety reports.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of field construction management experience as a Lead Superintendent.
- STRONG Management/Leadership Skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Computer skills, Procore/pm software
- Home Depot or Lowes experience is a plus
- Must have Retail construction experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
