The Director-in-Training is a full-time career level position starting in our Middleton location, with transition to our new Sun Prairie gym upon opening in early 2025. This individual is not only responsible for contributing to the performance of The Little Gym, but also responsible for learning the full operations of the business. The Director-In-Training reports directly to the owners/Gym Director. If suitable for this role, the individual in this position will be on a growth track to one day fulfill a Gym Director role and be responsible for the overall performance of the Gym.
Essential Job Functions:
- Teach GREAT classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method
- Assist and learn from the Gym Director/Owners in leading a team in providing outstanding customer service and membership experience second to none
- Manage day-to-day operations alongside the Gym Director
- Hire, manage and oversee training of staff alongside the Gym Director
- Maintain facility and equipment
- Sell The Little Gym program to new customers
- Evening and weekend availability a must
Qualifications:
- A background in child development, physical education and/or gymnastics is a plus
- Customer service experience
- Management experience
- Excellent time management skills
- Great attitude and strong work ethic
