The Lockwood Group is currently recruiting a Deputy Program Manager to support our Army aviation customer. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of management experience supporting Operations/Program/Project Management in Aviation, Training and Fielding contracts.
  • Be capable of coordinating work schedules/assignments of contractor and subcontractor employees. 
  • Be able to communicate orally and in writing with the Government Contracting, Fielding, and Management personnel. 
  • Maintain and manage detailed cost and schedule status of work progress.
  • Requires ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.


Requirements

  • BA/BS or 5 years relevant management experience
  • Proven experience managing remote mission-based personnel & subcontractors conducting logistics support.
  • Additional technical experience & knowledge desired.
  • US Citizenship is required, must have a valid US Driver's License.
  • ACTIVE Secret 


Certification Requirements

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desirable

Travel:

  • 10% Conus & Oconus
