About The Longleaf Hotel & Lounge:
Located at the northern entrance in downtown Raleigh, The Longleaf Hotel & Lounge is 55-room renovated mid-century modern hotel and lounge that celebrates its 1960s roots and places an emphasis on personalized service, a down-to-earth and warm style combined with the idea that every Longleaf staff member is a concierge to our city. The Longleaf is entirely unique in Raleigh, making it an authentic hospitality experience for both travelers and locals. The Longleaf Hotel & Lounge was developed by LODEN Properties and is managed by LODEN
Hospitality. LODEN Properties is a local development company owned by Russ Jones and Henry Ward.
In addition to The Longleaf, LODEN has developed Gateway Plaza just north of downtown Raleigh, the
Hampton Inn & Suites Raleigh Midtown, the Aloft Downtown Durham, Target Hillsborough among others.
LODEN also recently acquired Guest House in Downtown Raleigh.

- Thinking outside of the normal hospitality box and a desire to go above and beyond
- High level of knowledge of current climate of beer, wine, and liquor
- Knowledge of classic cocktails
- Ability to work with technology and understand computer programs (i.e. Excel, POS,
ScheduleFly)

Responsibilities:
- Work 2-3 bartending shifts a week, plus approximately ten (10) administrative hours, as well as floor manager shifts
- Responsible for overall lounge budget (revenues and expenses)
- Recruit bar team members with involvement of General Manager, as well as day-to-day management of the team
- Train, coach, supervise and collaborate with bar team
- Schedule weekly bar team shifts
- Process payroll bi-weekly
- Conduct monthly bar inventory
- Code and input invoices, Fintech, and any debit card use into accounting platform
- Create and send daily sales reports from POS
- Manage ordering and receiving of all goods and supplies for bar and coffee bar
- Assist front desk team in interactions with Lounge Guests
- Maintain the bar space -- keeping a clean, organized working environment
- Ensure safe working practices and procedures are followed by all staff
- Collaborate with bar team to design and execute an innovative bar program
- Implement menu changes
- Pick up liquor from ABC Warehouse weekly
- Coordinate with the GM to make the space comfortable and accessible to hotel and lounge guests
- Work to support positive guest satisfaction and review scores for the hotel and lounge
- Be an ambassador for the Downtown Raleigh community
- Coordinate with Marketing and Events Manager on Lounge events and marketing opportunities
