What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at The Marek Group?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies that are listed on the production orders.
- Distribute the proper quantity and quality of material to the machine workstations.
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading and securing the product.
- Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and notifying management of any needs for repairs.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.
- Identify and label materials and record locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory.
- Replenish machine/operator supplies and materials.
- Assist coworkers with various duties to help meet customer requests.
- Keep the warehouse organized and implement general housekeeping practices to maintain workplace cleanliness.
- Follow and comply with all safety, work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

Education and Experience:
Requires a high school diploma or GED degree and/or previous experience in a related field.
Minimum of 1 Year of Experience in a material handling position and forklift operation.
Knowledgeable of the safety requirements for safe operation of variety of forklifts, pallet jacks and skid wrappers.
