Skilled Tradesman, General Handyman

We are on the hunt for skilled and reliable Handymen to join our growing Oahu team. You will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties including maintaining properties, identifying the need for repairs, and responding to clients’ requests.

To be an effective handyman, you will be skilled and hard-working, with outstanding problem-solving abilities. Skillful hands, good physical stamina, and strong technical knowledge are important parts of the successful candidates’ talents. You will also be the face of the company, even though we take the calls, so you will need to present with honesty, professionalism, and positivity for the client.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic tasks including craftsmanship, remodeling, and managing maintenance repairs.
• Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
• Respond to clients’ maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair the minor plumbing, electrical and safety systems needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the job.
• Oversee the team on and off site.
• Provide clients’ with support and guidance on maintaining their project.

Requirements:

• MUST BE LOCATED ON OAHU (off island do not qualify).
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Must have own tools and way to transport them.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
• Have own business bank account and registered EIN for us to pay you and provide 1099s. W4 is also an option with valid SSN.
• A minimum of 2 years working experience in a general repair role or similar.
• Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
• Extremely organized with good communication skills.
• Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving.
