We are currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our talented and motivated team.

The Meadowglade is situated on a 24-acre campus surrounded by mountains and sprawling hills, with 8 acres of avocado groves. Job Summary
Able to provide a clean, sanitary comfortable, orderly and satisfying surrounding for the residents, employees, and the public. This position promotes sanitary conditions to prevent the spread of infection and odors. *Plus $500 sign on bonus*
Summary of essential job functions
- Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, carpet cleaner, etc.
- Maintains facilities in sanitary and infectious-free condition through washing, cleaning and replacement of linens, equipment and furnishings
- Complies with all regulation such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.
- Uses safety precautions in all housekeeping services
- Requires working in damp, dusty and dirty areas
- Must clean up human waste and other body fluids, as required
- Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable material
- Empties trash containers continuously throughout day
- Follows instructions on use of germicidal solutions to clean; all procedures for solution use will be part of the housekeepers’ training
- Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals (etc.)
- Damp dusts furniture, light fixtures, windowsills, base boards, and doors (etc.)
- Wet mops floors in all residents’ rooms and bathrooms daily
- Mop all corridor floors, lobby, dining areas, and others daily
- Cleans all basins, mirrors, commodes, tubs, and showers daily
- Cleans all air vents, fans, and light fixtures
- Checks entire living areas periodically for spills, especially in residents’ bathrooms and bedrooms
- Make sure tables are cleaned and dish and towels are collected/washed/put away
- Deliver food to nearby clinic daily
- Reports any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tiles, broken windows/panes, missing nuts or screws, beds needing repair, (etc.)
- Ensures complete cleaning of each kitchen including wiping down cabinets (inside and out) floor, dishes, stove refrigerator, (etc.)
- Turn mattresses
Minimum requirements
- Must have clean driving record and current Driver's License
- Must pass live scan
- Ability to obtain CPR/ First-Aide
- Ability to obtain TB before hire
Abilities required
- This position demands good physical and mental health
- Required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, and pull
- Able to move continuously during work hours
- Lift and/or carry 20 to 35 pounds
