Location: Camp Hill, PA
Status: PRN, as needed
Work Schedule: Weekday production shifts as needed. On call during evenings and weekends on a rotating basis every three weeks.

As a Pharmacist you will be accountable for accurately processing all prescription transactions from dispensing, billing, adjudication and sale of the product to our long-term care accounts throughout Central Pennsylvania. In an on call capacity, you would be a resource available to support new orders for late afternoon admissions, as needed. Compensation for the position includes a flat weekly standby stipend plus an hourly rate for time worked. Typical responsibilities associated with this position are:
- Direct pharmacy staff including clinicians, technicians, and drivers as necessary when covering for Pharmacist Manager.
- Ensures all RX items leaving the pharmacy are accurate, complete and payment has successfully been secured including dispensing of medications to Medicare beneficiaries.
- Provide leadership to staff in delivering specialized areas such as automation and customer service.
- Be clinically knowledgeable so as to make recommendations to facilities in the event of insurance issues with coverage, controlling costs upon admission for Med A and drug allergies.

In addition to being attentive to detail, an effective communicator, customer oriented, and highly accurate the successful candidate for this position must also have the following qualifications:
- Must be a licensed and in good standing Pharmacist Professional in Pennsylvania, or able to obtain licensure within 30 days of employment.
- No previous violations or suspension of licenses due to fraud, theft of non-compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
- Must be able to stand for periods up to 10 hours.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and handle other computer components.
- Knowledge of long term care a plus, but not required.
- Functional knowledge of QS/1 PrimeCare a plus, but not required.
Prior to beginning work, successful applicants must complete a background check consisting of criminal records check, Medicare/Medicaid exclusions check, employment verification, education verification, drug test, licensure/certification verification, and DMV motor vehicle record check, as applicable.
