We are seeking a Design Operations Program Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role will identify opportunities, craft, drive, and own the strategy of programs that support a healthy design team culture.
What You’ll Do
Establish team rhythms that support a healthy design culture and team cohesion
Execute end-to-end initiatives and programs while working with multiple stakeholders often across product areas and/or teams
Improve design quality through feedback and iteration, explore a range of design options, QA programs, and prioritize design elements to facilitate the design process
Facilitate meetings to drive progress against goals and objectives, establish clear next steps and owners, and resolve blocks that impede progress
Collaborate with cross-functional partners within the design organization to ensure a smooth product development process
Support design teams with effective communication, proactive problem solving, information distribution, and resourcing solutions
Execute activities that build team culture and community, team values and trust, and help individuals tie their work back to our client's mission

Must-Haves:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a digital producer, project manager, or program manager with experience executing programs, supporting design teams and developing relationships
Experience creating programs or impactful solutions to resolve an identified problem or a gap with measurable results
Experience working directly with cross-functional partners within the design organization
Track record of operating independently
Experience supporting product or business strategy in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with design teams

Education:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be on-site at our customer’s Menlo Park, CA office once it is determined safe to do so.

Please note: In order to create a safe, productive work environment, our client is requiring all contractors to be fully vaccinated according to the CDC guidelines (please inform your employer if you need a medical or religious exemption). Prior to onboarding, contractors will be required to attest that they are fully vaccinated. Boosters are required to be received by March 28, 2022, or six months after receiving the final dose of the original vaccination series, whichever is later. The expected Return to Office date is July 2022
