Financial Analyst (Remote)

Our Customer is seeking a Financial Analyst on a contract basis to help support their business needs in an "embedded finance" organization within Global Operations, requiring finance knowledge, but execution against operations' priorities.

What You’ll Do:
Focused on managing operating expenses for third-party vendor spending.
Manage a variety of projects of differing complexity and size.
Projects may relate to financing, operations, system implementation, or others.
Projects will help enable or improve processes related to that open management.
Projects may be as short as 1 day or as long as several months.
Multiple projects will run at the same time.
Move fast to implement change and create a lasting impact quickly.

Must-Haves:
Experience with programs such as Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, SharePoint, Anaplan, and some SQL queries.
Able to run a large, complex problem end-to-end.
Experience running projects end to end, including tackling ambiguity, designing the structure of a project, and seeing it through.
Strong project management skills, seeing the value in any size of the project.
Knowledge of SAP and some experience with supporting integrations.
High comfort with digging in and figuring out/learning tools/systems and capabilities.
Experience working in a highly complex, matrixed org with business partners in multiple locations.
Experience in Finance – understanding terminology, basics of accruals, and financial concepts.
Experience implementing/integrating a new financial system.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline is required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.

Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% Remote, but candidates must be based in either Los Angeles, CA or Boston, MA.
