We are seeking a Non-IT Project Manager on a contract basis to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research, development, product roll-out, etc., or any other non-IT-based project.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
Present and explain research proposals to clients & stakeholders.
Analyze resource needs to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Identifying, documenting, and delving deeply into challenges immediately impacting a project plan, especially blockers, and establishing a path to correct as quickly as possible.
Confer with management and stakeholders to gather program and project priorities and research specifications.
Assist in maintaining a database of ongoing research projects to ensure accurate reporting of status, reviews, and approvals.
Use appropriate communication channels to keep teams informed of projects & statuses.
Supporting setting in-person demos with stakeholders and Companies.
Identity and communicate program requirements, scope, constraints, dependencies, and risk.
Must-Haves:
Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills are necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
PMI or PMP certification preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be on-site at our customer’s Redmond, WA office once it is determined safe to do so

Please note: In order to create a safe, productive work environment, our client is requiring all contractors to be fully vaccinated according to the CDC guidelines (please inform your employer if you need a medical or religious exemption). Prior to onboarding, contractors will be required to attest that they are fully vaccinated. Boosters are required to be received by March 28, 2022, or six months after receiving the final dose of the original vaccination series, whichever is later. The expected Return to Office date is July 2022
