We are seeking a Program Manager on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This position will be supporting our customer's NY based Research Data Agreement Program and will work closely with the Program's new academic partners.
This role can be 100% remote for candidates based in NYC, Baltimore, Boston, Houston, LA or San Diego.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
Deal with day-to-day work of onboarding researchers to the program. Work with academic partners to onboard them to our products.
Support the academic partnerships research data agreement program.
Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
Review and drive changes to improve operational processes.
Assist in operational audit-related activities, providing evidence and summarizing key steps.
Provide detailed overviews of partner onboarding flows to give context to our client and audit stakeholders.
Will be working with internal client systems, basic background checks on applicants, and corresponding over email.
Must-Haves:
2-4 years of related experience.
Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to summarize and communicate upward.
Identify risks and suggest solutions.
Experience in data auditing, data analysis and data visualization.
Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills are necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc. ability to make dashboards & data reporting structures.
Familiarity with colleges & universities.
Must have Writing skills.
Organized & highly detailed resource, as well as process-oriented - need documentation in a clear & concise manner.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
PMI or PMP certification preferred.
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% Remote for approved locations.
