Sustainability Program Manager (Remote)

We are seeking a Sustainability Program Manage r on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role will help develop new sustainability and climate-related with the client products on apps, with a focus on accelerating action to address climate change among businesses, industry groups, community-based organizations, and other key stakeholders around electrification and home decarbonization.

What You’ll Do:
Launch and grow the client’s presence of consumer and business products for a key market focused on accelerating action to address climate change
Serve as the client’s point of contact with key product launch partners such as local businesses, industry groups or community-based organizations
Represent product partners and regional needs to the client's internal teams to inform future product iterations and needs
Interact with high-level business, nonprofit, and government officials
Partner with regional cross-functional teams such as marketing, communications, policy, partnerships, and product at the client to develop and execute marketing and outreach strategies
Coordinate with central product and program teams at the client
Effectively communicate project progress with external partners

Must-Haves:
8 years of related experience in fields related to sustainability - renewable energy, solar, EV, energy efficiency, urban transformation
Strong business development acumen, developing and negotiating contracts
Strong program management skills with demonstrated ability to self-manage complex program delivery in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
A strategic thinker who can ideate and help us come up with solutions for people on our platform to lead more sustainable lives
A self-starter, with a proven ability to diplomatically resolve issues through understanding conflicting inputs, achieving alignment, and proposing go-forward solutions
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (e.g. Product, Research, Data Science, Engineering, Communications, Policy)
Demonstrated flexibility and ability and willingness to learn and work on new projects
Strong understanding of the client’s products and services
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to travel regionally

Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% Remote.
