What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Manager position at The Money Store?
The Regional Manager will manage the daily operations of their assigned region in Texas and the surrounding states. The Regional Manager oversees the operations of local branches while ensuring all loan officers are going through the proper channels and submitting all documents to complete loans and marketing legally. Primary job responsibilities include recruiting successful mortgage loan originators, management and retention of all region sales/non-sales personnel.
Directs, coordinates, and monitors all sales, region operation, and personnel development activities to create a business operation that increases sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction.- Recruits, hires, and manages a team of Loan Officers to establish a high-performance operating region.
- Manages and coordinates the activities of mortgage Loan Officers engaged in promoting and selling products and/or services for the lending line of business.
- Creates a positive work environment; sets clear objectives and monitors performance.
- Manages performance issues in accordance with company policy.
- Manages and oversees appropriately the daily operations of the region to control expenses and minimize risk to the Company.
- Ensures that all persons performing any services for the Company through the Region are Company employees, properly licensed and registered, as applicable, and are approved to start by Company and, as applicable approved by the Company to originate loans.
- Responsible for immediately reporting any lawsuits, complaints; investigations or other similar actions which involve Employee’s duties on behalf of the Company and/or which could potentially affect Employee’s licensing status or ability to perform his/her job for the Company.
- Informs Company of all expenses on a timely basis in order to ensure prompt payment thereof forwarding all fees, checks, deposits, etc. in the possession of Manager to Company’s Corporate Headquarters in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all closed loan documents are stored in Company’s document storage system and accessible to Company upon demand.
- Makes frequent stops at branch locations to ensure all staff is working legally and efficiently
- Sets a high standard for the branches for office appearance, staff dress code and loan quality
- Works closely with corporate headquarters to ensure the branches are up to date on all of the new and ever-changing compliance guidelines and regulations
- Maintains an open communication style and a professional work environment with coworkers and corporate headquarters
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) year’s sales management experience at a mortgage company, bank or other financial institution.
- Comprehensive understanding of mortgage guidelines
- Must be knowledgeable on the methods and procedures for promoting and marketing of products and services
- Able to communicate via the telephone, face to face, and email
- Possesses interviewing skills, supports diversity and familiarity with current laws and practices
- Is driven, works well with others excels in project management
- Is organized, professional, and unbiased
- Can handle many tasks at one time
