The Neighborhood Veterinarian is seeking a veterinary technician/assistant. We are a busy two doctor practice in Broad Ripple that caters to the unique culture of the neighborhood. Our goal is always to provide top notch customer service combined the best patient care. A small staff means everyone is important and needed! Applicants must qualify in the following areas: RVT/Assistant

  • Must be able to work some Saturdays
  • Able to lift 30lbs
  • Reliable to arrive on time and work scheduled shifts
  • IV catheter placement and general phlebotomy skills
  • Digital radiology
  • Phone skills
  • Ability to multi-task technician and customer service responsibilities
  • Avimark software knowledge not necessary but helpful!

All employees are cross-trained with a focus on specific areas. Hourly wage dependent on previous experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Veterinary Experience: 1 year (Required)
  • Veterinary Technician Experience: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Veterinary Technician Certification (Preferred)
