Your Role We are looking for a Commercial Planning Analyst to join the team. Reporting into the Commercial Planning Manager, this experienced individual will provide varied support with data analysis, reporting and thoughtful insight to support the commercial team on NET-A-PORTER. You Will: Support the Commercial Planning Manager with the delivery of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for NET-A-PORTER Understand the current vs future state of the business and identify key requirements/capabilities (technical and operational) needed to support the strategy. Support the gathering and analysis of customer, competitor and market insights from internal and external sources to substantiate recommendations, engaging specialist teams where necessary. Work closely with the wider Economics team and across the business to steer business decisions (covering topics such as regional planning, promotional calendar planning, stock/OTB, customer strategy) Support the development of strategic business cases working with cross-functional teams by outlining business opportunity, rationale, and execution plans to achieve the vision. Track projects’ evolution, report achievements, challenges and roadblocks Assist in the identification, assessment and management of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, ensuring updates to plans are made correctly and impact is clearly understood Highlight opportunities through analysis & knowledge of external retail landscape Support the Team in preparing high quality presentation decks with relevant updates for our Executives You have: 3 years experience within a business consulting firm / in reporting / management control functions within a big multi-national company; Degree in business management or related Ability to work with a wide spectrum of people (from Senior Executives to peers) and willing to manage the whole spectrum of responsibilities from strategic to very tactical Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PPT with Advanced Excel modelling capabilities Very strong analytical and presentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate complex issues concisely and to communicate effectively and comfortably at different levels of seniority Quick, highly responsive individual who is proactive and can work under pressure and tight deadlines as needed Proactive approach to problem solving, owning the issues and having the determination to follow tasks / issues through. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
