Administrative Assistant II

Human Resources & Finance

Worksite Location: Hood River

Work Schedule: Part-Time, 20-29 hrs per week, M-F

Salary Range: $18.94 - $21.59 per hour

Reports to: Human Resources Supervisor

What you will do…

Recruiting for The Next Door!

  • Format job postings
  • Post jobs to various websites
  • Review incoming resumes and call qualified candidates for pre-interview phone screens
  • Schedule and join in on interviews
  • Follow-up with candidates
  • Collaborate with our hiring managers on our recruiting process
  • Explore creative ways to post for specialized roles

New Hire Processes!

  • Reference checks and background checks
  • Coordinate and prepare onboarding

Administrative Support!

  • Organize, update and maintain employee files
  • Support HR and Finance department for administrative needs

Education and Experience you need…

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • At least one year of Administrative Assistant experience.
  • At least one year of Human Resources experience

Preferred:

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Associates Degree
  • Additional one year of administrative assistant experience.
  • Additional one year of Human Resources or Administrative experience
