Job Title: Age-Friendly Technical Assistance Program Coordinator Department: Social Work | Collaborative Community Initiatives The Age-Friendly Technical Assistance Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing the Age-friendly Innovation Center Technical Assistance Program (TAP) across diverse populations and geographic locations in the state of Ohio. This includes promoting and developing TAP resources ( Age-Friendly Communities Certificate, Age-Friendly Innovation Center Office Hours, toolkits, strategy guidance, data dissemination, etc.), liaising with new communities entering or exploring the age-friendly network, and providing training on developing age-friendly communities. This position will be responsible for tracking and reporting impact and engagement efforts related to the TAP outcomes. This position supports and advises the Age-Friendly Innovation Center Director and Assistant Director with communication strategies, with a specific focus on equity and inclusion. This position will increase the diversity, equity, and inclusion of older adults into local and statewide age-friendly innovation center, across all outreach, education, and research efforts. This position will manage and coordinate focus groups in targeted impact communities: identify location, coordinate all inclusive activities (translation, transportation, incentives, etc), facilitate the group, and write reports. This position will support outreach to the community and public speaking and serve on local, regional, state, and national advocacy and advisory boards and committees. The Age-Friendly Technical Assistance Program Coordinator will be part of the Age-Friendly Innovation Center team with the College of Social Work. The mission of the Center is to innovate with older adults through research, education and engagement to ensure inclusion and build resiliency to make our communities age-friendly. The Center is committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, community engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration. This job will require travel throughout the state of Ohio, specifically in the 36-county area served by the funder https://www.healthpathohio.org/counties This position is contingent on continuous external funding. If funding is not maintained, a decrease in staff and potential termination of the program are options Minimum Education Required: Master's Level Degree with a Major in Social Work or a related field Required Qualifications: Master's degree with a minimum of two years of work experience with older adults. Also required, is at least two years of experience with public speaking and community engagement. Professional licensure is preferred.
