Job Title: Financial Operations Coordinator 3 Department: Public Health | College Administration Serves as the point of contact for division-based faculty for the College of Public Health on the faculty effort planning, management, and entering the appropriate Workday transactions. Provides guidance and support to faculty members including emeritus with effort planning and management. Responsible for working with the faculty, and other business units as needed, in collecting information to initiate the appropriate Workday transaction in Workday such as costing allocations, payroll accounting adjustments, and period activity pay. Manages the faculty effort summaries to ensure information is accurate. Responsible for processing off-duty pay which includes, but not limited to, collection, processing and routing, and entering period activity pay. Collaborates with college HR consultant to process administrative attachments and other related transactions. Monitors funding end dates and transaction status through to completion; works with the HR consultant, payroll services, other business units, and the Office of Sponsored Programs – Grants Accounting as necessary to resolve faculty payroll issues. Develops and documents detailed processes on policies, processes, and systems related to faculty effort related to the role and creates training materials to facilitate back-up and cross-coverage. Serves on college committees and manages special projects and other duties as assigned.
