DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES - ASSISTANT PROJECT PLUMBING MANAGER
- Follow up with RFI/Submittal issues that are pending and assist in the coordination between the GC/Engineer and Par PLM
- Discuss phasing and coordination of equipment for site for alteration jobs
- Dispatch lead times for approved fixture schedules so the client can plan the work accordingly
- Work with alterations estimating and assist with any special pricing they may need while within the bidding process
- Troubleshoot with the field staff and assist on any problem installations that may arise due to lack of coordination/engineering from an outside party
- Make sure all approved submittals and long lead items are communicated/expedited to purchasing
- Work with Vice President to ensure all projects are running according to schedule
- Logistically plan job site transport with existing staff on site
REQUIREMENTS - ASSISTANT PROJECT PLUMBING MANAGER
- Plumbing distribution experience preferred
- Must have extensive knowledge of plumbing parts and systems
- Minimum 3 years of project management in Plumbing or related industry (i.e. HVAC or Plumbing) is required
- Must be able to read plumbing drawings/plans
- Must have experience working with subcontractors
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; heavy telephone and email presence; professional demeanor required
- Must be a self-starter, pay attention to detail, and utilize effective organizational skills including the ability to multitask and complete tasks quickly and efficiently
- Computer literacy required. Intermediate in Microsoft Excel (i.e. sorting, filtering, pivot tables etc.), Microsoft Outlook, and the internet
- Must be able to display effective problem solving techniques and have the ability to remain calm in a high-volume and demanding environment
- Relevant construction/mechanical and/or trade experience
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS- ASSISTANT PROJECT PLUMBING MANAGER
Salary Range: $71-92K
