What are the responsibilities and job description for the Triple P Coordinator position at The Parenting Network?
This position serves as an accredited Positive Parenting Program® (Triple P) educator and local program coordinator. Lead, coordinate and facilitate evidence-based parent education for caregivers with children 0-16 years old. Services are delivered one on one and in groups. Facilitate programs within various community locations and virtually. Training and accreditation for Triple P is provided upon hire.
Salary: Salary range $40,000-$45,000
Key Responsibilities
- Teach adults using Triple P curriculum: one-on-one and in groups
- Build collaborative partnerships within the community
- Build relationships with parents and serve as a support person
- Oversee office operations for program
- Maintain records and files
- Track registration and program enrollment
- Plan and schedule program events
- Assist with program marketing efforts
- Assist in preparing reports
- Attend staff meetings, programs, and professional development
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, child development, psychology, or counseling
- Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
- Two years of experience in social work, child development, education, or related field
- Must have Triple P accreditations or obtain within 3 months of hire
- Experience facilitating education programs and working one on one with adults
- Basic understanding of child development
- Experience working with families of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience using trauma informed and culturally responsive approaches to learning
- Model strengths-based learning
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with data systems and inputting data
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office

- Work schedule requires flexibility to manage changing demands. Some evenings and/or weekend hours required
- Able to sit/stand for long periods of time as needed

- Must have a valid driver’s license and a properly licensed and insured vehicle
