Position Summary:
The Parking Spot is actively hiring for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team in Chicago! Bring your 2-3 years of experience to manage our digital marketing campaigns, including managing agency relationships, partnering with our analytics team, and building and executing campaigns to drive revenue and return on ad spend. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for optimizing all paid channels to drive reservations across all 38 of our locations nationwide. This position reports to our Sr. Director of Digital and Email Marketing.
Our offices are based in the heart of the Loop in downtown Chicago, but we are pleased to note that our Chicago office is operating on a hybrid work model (mix of in-office and remote work)
Key Responsibilities:
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing a variety of paid marketing channels, as well as managing relationships with The Parking Spot’s agencies and vendors. Channels include but are not limited to paid search, programmatic advertising, affiliate marketing, and paid social efforts. Responsibilities include:
- Manage SEM efforts via an agency, to maximize reservation revenue and return on ad spend
- Maintain relationships with programmatic advertising vendors and identify optimization opportunities
- Continue to build paid social revenue through testing and learning
- Build on the affiliate marketing program to maximize revenue from partners
- Manage outside agency relationships to drive the most effective spend of digital marketing dollars between channels
- Make recommendations on new vendors/channels/tests that will further The Parking Spot’s presence in the online space
- Track marketing program impact to measure and improve ROI and ROAS
- Track competitors/category trends/consumer trends and translate them to insights in collaboration with Marketing Analytics
- Stay current on digital marketing best practices, search engine advertising policies, search engine algorithm updates and industry-wide eCommerce trends
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- 2-3 years of experience successfully building digital marketing campaigns and managing budgets
- Understanding of building and managing programmatic campaigns
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to multi-task
- Ability to manage agency relationships
- Ability to analyze/interpret data, make recommendations, structure tests, and successfully execute plans
- Test and learn mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with mobile app advertising/tracking is a plus
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, Search Ads 360, Impact, and Facebook Ads Manager is a plus
