THE PASS is an adult-use recreational cannabis business led by experienced entrepreneurs from the spirits, cannabis and marketing industries. We are located in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts’ southernmost town of Sheffield.
As an IPM Technician, you will be tasked with maintaining cannabis plant health through Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices. Working closely with our cultivation team, you will monitor, identify, and manage pests and diseases.

As an IPM Technician, you will be tasked with maintaining cannabis plant health through Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices. Working closely with our cultivation team, you will monitor, identify, and manage pests and diseases.
Roles & Responsibilities Will Include
- Learn and implement effective IPM strategies tailored to cannabis cultivation
- Monitor cannabis plants and growing facilities to detect signs of pests, diseases, and other factors affecting plant health
- Identify pests, diseases, and beneficial organisms using appropriate tools and resources
- Maintain detailed records of IPM activities and observations
- Comfortable with handling spraying pesticides and following all appropriate PPE requirements
- Apply pesticides responsibly, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Stay up to date on the latest developments in cannabis IPM techniques and technologies, actively seeking opportunities to enhance our IPM program.
- Adhere to all Compliance and Security procedures.
- All other duties assigned.

Qualifications And Education
- Possession of a pesticide applicator license or willingness to obtain one.
- Familiarity with common cannabis pests, diseases, and their control methods preferred.
- Willingness to learn and follow SOPs
- Knowledge of cannabis cultivation practices and plant biology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent Listening Skills and ability to follow directions precisely
- Ability to climb, squat, bend, twist and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner.
- Effective time-management skills and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
- Ability to be collaborative and a team player
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to meet all shift requirements with regularity, predictability and consistency
- Long periods of prolonged standing and sitting
- Working Indoor and outdoors
- Some crouching or holding uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time
- Requires bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
