What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at The Plus Group?
We are looking for a Medical Assistant in an outpatient clinic-based setting in the Los Angeles area (West Lake Village). This is a full-time contracted role, possible temp to hire on position. Must be Certified. Must have 6 months of Pediatric experience.
Duties will include (also vary depending on department):
- Taking vitals
- Rooming patients
- Preparing patients for examination
- Assist doctors/nurses for procedures
- Updating patients' charts
- Restocking examination room
Requirements:
-Must have CA issued or National MA certification (AAMA/CMA) and AHA BLS
- at least 3 year related experience
- 6 Months of Pediatric experience.

Rates/Benefits:
- $26.00/hourly
- Medical benefit after 60 days
- Sick time pay after 90 days
