What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Administrator position at The Porter Service Company?
The Warranty Administrator is responsible for the filing of warranty claims for the The Porter Service Company. This includes data verification, invoicing and administrative closeout. This position is required to closely interact with the General Manager, Project Managers, Field Supervisors, Assistant to General Manager, Technicians and our factory representatives.
- Gather data for feedback to the factories proactively for claim entry
- Process and coordinate internal Porter Service claims by evaluation and qualifying requests, collecting information and completing forms, responding to questions, and tracking progress in a standardized timeframe.
- Process service claims – concessions, service, construction/retrofit, startup and labor warranty.
- Direct contact to factory for complicated issues
- Project Admin support on claims for return of warranty parts
- Communicate effectively with other team members concerning project management process
- Assists with communication to customers regarding project status
- Responsible for general administrative function to support the Service fulfillment process
- Responsible for generating, interpret and print various assigned reports
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the operation of HVAC Systems preferred, not required.
- Proficient of MS Word, Excel and Power Point
- Knowledge of COINS a plus, but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
