Full-Time Nanny in Regent Square

LOCATION -Regent Square

CHILDREN- 3 month boy and 3 year old girl

SCHEDULE- M-F 10am-5pm (posiibilty for 40 hours if desired)

PAYRATE- $23-$25 per hour

DAILY TASKS:

Take care of children- meals, snacks, naps, activities, etc.

Children's Laundry- clean/fold/put away

Tidy up spaces after using- light cleaning of kitchen after use, put away toys, etc.

ABOUT US:

We are high school sweethearts from Pittsburgh who traveled the world together before having children. After our daughter was born in London in 2019, we decided to return home to our roots – and to adoring grandparents. This past August, we welcomed our son into the world.

Dad works in business consulting 3 days per week in-office and 2 days per week from home. Mom has her own business in the education space and works exclusively from home.

When we’re not working, we love finding fun things to do with our children. Some favorite family activities include taking walks, going to the park, visiting the library, finding kid-focused events in and around Pittsburgh, traveling to and exploring new places, and cooking/baking together.

IDEAL NANNY:

Our ideal nanny is loving, nurturing, attentive, and patient. She has experience caring for infants and preschoolers. She knows when to simply sit back and observe their world and when to step in and assist. She is willing to follow the parents’ established routine, while making thoughtful decisions based on the baby’s varying needs each day. Our nanny needs to be comfortable with mom breastfeeding at various times throughout the day.

Our ideal nanny will follow our lead when it comes to our child raising philosophy. We incorporate many Montessori practices into our home in the way we interact with our kids, in the activities we provide, and in the way we set up the environment. We love watching our children develop and grow in confidence and independence through this approach. If our nanny is not well-versed in Montessori approach, we’d love someone who would be open to reading our favorite books on the subject so that we’re on the same page.

Our ideal nanny enjoys spending time outdoors (even in the cold) and will make sure that our children get outside daily.

Requirements

COVID, Flu and Tdap vaccines

PA Act 33 &34 clearances

CPR certification

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
