Requirements
- Must be able to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
- Must have banking industry experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field or certification preferred. Certifications may include professional technical writing, advance technical writing, or business writing.
- 3 years experience in technical writing with knowledge of commercial banking. Experience in credit management/underwriting within commercial banking.
- 3 years UX writing experience supporting end user commercial banking programs and tools.
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation that conveys accurate and technical information to an end-user to understand and parse with extreme attention to detail. Simplify the complex.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
- Critical thinker with an understanding of logical flow of step-by-step processes and importance of order.
- Excellent teamwork and listening skills, giving full attention to what others are saying; taking time to understand the points being made, challenging the status-qo and asking questions as appropriate.
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. Able to gather and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to support recommendations.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage senior stakeholders over multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Understanding of the Commercial Banking nCino platform within Salesforce and use of embedded UX tools such as WalkMe and WhatFix.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 product suite with expert knowledge in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, and Teams.
- Proficiencies with SharePoint, Microsoft PowerApps and Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with development and maintaining of document templates, style guides, and other documentation standards.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of content by adhering to established standards and procedures.
- Write, edit, and review technical documentation for Credit Management, including but not limited to, user manuals, job aids, procedures, policy and internal communications.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to understand technical concepts of existing tools/systems, strategies, procedures and policies and translate them into easy-to-understand language and guidance for end users.
- Advocate for clarity and consistency with the end-user in mind. Simply the complex.
- Manage documentation projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Identify opportunities for improvement in existing documentation processes and recommend solutions.
- Provide guidance to management or other groups on technical documentation of systems, policies, or process related matters.
