What We Seek:

We seek a Senior Associate to join our Media & Communications practice. Senior Associates at our firm bring hands-on expertise, contextual knowledge, and strong project management abilities to our client engagements. Specifically, candidates who join our Media & Communications practice will have a track record of success in digital communications. Add to that a high degree of initiative, personal resilience, attention to detail, smarts, a little swagger, a lot of creativity, and a concierge-like approach to client services.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the creation, implementation, and monitoring of strategic and tactical communications plans.
• Serve as digital strategist on client teams. This may look like any of the following:
• Assess and improve clients’ social media platforms.
• Create and drive social media campaigns - develop digital content, lead development of multimedia collateral.
• Arrange and manage the tech production of virtual events
• Oversee the work of web developers and/or develop websites
• Track and assess analytics; prepare summative reports, memoranda, etc. Identify options for ongoing improvement and strengthening of target metrics.
• Staff client teams on overall task and project management, capturing notes from team meetings, scheduling calls and meetings, developing agendas, maintaining electronic files, and responding to client requests.
• Contribute to the organizational goals of the firm’s Media & Communications practice area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range and Benefits:

COVID-19 Policy:

All Raben staff have the option to work remotely or in our offices, at their own discretion, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Regardless of work location, all staff of The Raben Group must show proof of having received an FDA authorized COVID-19 vaccination, unless they are approved for an exemption due to medical reasons or religious beliefs. New employees must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, or provide evidence of medical or religious exemption, no later than their first day of employment. Staff members who are approved for exemption must submit weekly COVID-19 PCR test results.

Requirements

 Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years experience in communications or public relations; professional, hands-on digital communication experience required. Experience in a political or public policy setting a strong plus.
• Extensive digital communications experience
• Nuanced understanding of the national as well as your local media landscape
• Experience developing and directly executing communications plans.
• Exemplary oral and written communication skills required. Candidates must have the demonstrable ability to quickly produce clear, compelling written collateral.
• Ability to thrive and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrable project management skills across multiple assignments with many moving parts.
