SUMMARY: The Content Marketing Specialist position will work closely with strategic marketing teams to develop engaging and relevant text and visual content for social platforms.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Research and suggest new content topics Write and edit long form, such as blog posts, press releases, etc. Post new content on our social media channels (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok) Develop creative and engaging captions for our social media posts Manage our database of external content collaborators/brand ambassadors Collect  and analyze performance data from ongoing marketing campaigns Help create effective and engaging graphics for our website and/or social media Create reports and presentations using campaign performance metrics Brainstorm ideas for the improvement of our content marketing efforts and strategies This position may travel within the local market.    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities.   EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications (or relevant field) and/or 1-2 years relevant work experience Graphic Design experience using Adobe creative suite software   REQUIREMENTS: Must have minimum of 2 years of experience in Marketing or related positions.  Must have 3 years of experience or proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suites.   COMPETENCIES: Experience executing online marketing strategies, including social media and content marketing.   LANGUAGE SKILLS: Advanced communication skills in verbal and written formats.  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.    MATHMATICAL SKILLS:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.   REASONING: Ability to quickly adapt to change, problem solve and multitask. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
