Purpose
Oversee Island Lodge Facilities, Fill and deliver supply requests (daily), work with Transportation, guest services and the concierge to prepare for guest’s arrivals, review any special guest requests, events and BEOs with the Island Lodge team, manage and solve guest issues. Oversee the cleaning of the lodge and visit with guests and be available for guest questions, coordinate with activity guides and cooks. Serve guests during their meal periods, make and serve drinks. Island Lodge Manager will schedule Island Butlers when needed and coordinate with Activities Manager and Guide schedules to ensure the Island is properly staffed for the day.
The Primary Functions are:
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including washing machine, Power Boats, Pontoon Boat, Jet skis, Fishing boat and all utility boats.
- Ensure Equipment is stored in appropriate areas
- Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to receiving and distributing daily orders, washing and organizing dishes/equipment, set-up of various events, inventory, and food production for Guest Day use of the Island Lodge.
- Identify unusable product and communicate with our Chefs for resolutions
- Supervise and assist in the Set-up, breakdown, and maintenance of all kitchen equipment, and activity equipment, Boats, Kayaks, rafts, towels, Jet sky’s etc.
- Assist in all aspects of Island operations as needed
- Exhibit an understanding of the importance of safe food handling procedures, Alcohol serve safe procedures as well as safety procedures on the lake and water sport safety protocols and MT State laws and regulations on the lake.
- Always ensure quality
- Search for opportunities and achieve better results next time to continue and improve our/your standards
- Communicate with Lodge Maintenance care taker on work orders and over all Facilities.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
- Complete other tasks as assigned by Glamping Management Team
Looking for Team Members with:
- High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
- Basic Food & Beverage experience, Experience operating Small Boats
- Knowledge of world class hospitality and service
- Valid Food Handler’s License
- Valid Alcohol Serve Safe Certificate.
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Boater education certificate.
