What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mailroom Clerk position at The Resource Connection?
A Mailroom Clerk is needed for a State Agency in Quincy. Temporary, On-Site position, must be Fully Vaccinated.
Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week, $20.00 per hour
Duties:
Distribute and collect all incoming/outgoing mail and FedEx/UPS packages within the building
- Log, track and deliver UPS, FedEx and all packages that required signature
- Utilize the SendSuite packing tracking system for all packages requiring signature
- Assist in setting up and packing/unpacking courier mail from branches
- Assist with processing all incoming and outgoing mail inter-office/postage mail to and from other State Agency locations as needed
- All mail packages to be delivered and received according to schedule.
- Complete daily log form for each site pick-up/drop-off.
- Sort and separate mail for next day distribution.
- Deliver office supplies, copy paper, toner cartridges and special packages as required
- Check and refill dispensers (hand soap, hand sanitizer, etc.) in the break rooms and office space areas as needed
- Load and unload mail within the building safely
- Ensure prompt and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing mail and to not leave any mail unattended outside the mailroom
- Perform good customer service to all visitors to the mailroom
- Assist the mailroom operations with other duties and tasks as needed
- Comply with all State Agency policies and procedures
- Comply with the State Agency conduct and behavior policy
