What our lucky new Director of Operations will be doing…

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Create a warm, energetic, supportive work environment that is palpable when you walk in the door
  • Plan teambuilding activities for office staff to recharge and reconnect, remote and onsite
  • Create incentives and encourage connections between office team members, both in office and remote staff
  • Oversee company resources, make recommendations for office staffing
  • Take Referrals and assign to a Service Supervisor
  • Monitor caseloads for Service Supervisors that may be part-time or full-time
  • Ensure office staff have the resources, technology, supplies, etc they need to do a great job
  • Supervise all office staff, remote and on site
  • One on One meetings with staff you supervise
  • Create opportunities for professional development
  • Perform all Human Resources duties for those you supervise (office staff only)
  • Annual reviews, post jobs/interview/hiring/coaching/disciplinary actions
  • Create onboarding/orientation/training plan for all office new hires
  • Step into the role of Service Supervisor during absences or as needed
  • Monitor and problem solve billing issues
  • Act as a project manager for various projects, establishing and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Ensure all agency activities are in compliance with internal policies and external requirements
  • Create/Review/Monitor agency policies and procedures
  • Create/Review/Recommend – training programs, onboarding, HR procedures
  • Advisory Board meetings (prepare for, coordinate/plan)
  • Oversee Quality Assurance activities to ensure compliance, follow up as required
  • Incident reporting
  • Act as a liaison to payors or other companies (MCOs, IME, etc.)
  • Coordinate communications to others, including to all staff, all clients, etc.
  • Create templates that ensure the message reflects the tone and mission of our agency
  • Facilitate social media communications

Qualifications (Including Education and Experience):

  • Experience supervising professional supervisory staff
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field or healthcare administration field
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Knowledge of and experience with HCBS Waiver services
  • Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass background checks including: criminal history, sex offender, child/dependent adult abuse, and driving records.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading an agency or large department of human service professionals

· Master’s degree in Social Work, Healthcare Administration or related field

· Experience in a “top level” leadership role

· Experience developing agency policies and procedures

· Experience developing online training programs

· Experience activity, conference, or event planning

· Experience providing direct care, especially Respite or Supported Community Living services, to individuals with a disability

  • Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
