Position Summary: Provide assistance with development and modification as it relates to TRG IT activities and projects including TRG clients. Supporting a variety of computer software and hardware activities for the company and clients. Consult with TRG software users on TRG software issues. Maintain computer hardware and software inventory for the company. Responsible for providing emergency response support and training based on client and company needs.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide support to other TRG Departments as directed.
- Participate as a response member for immediate emergency response deployment as needed.
- Be available for planned and unplanned exercises as directed.
- You have a responsibility to respond/answer all TRG & Client communications.
- Develop proficiency in the IAP Software and a basic understanding of spill trajectory, modeling, and GIS mapping/COP.
- Develops and ensures accurate and professional deliverables for clients.
- Basic understanding of TRG products and services.
Position Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and support all computer, network, print, internet, phone and office data systems.
- Advanced ability to troubleshoot and support Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and networks.
- Building, installing and managing computer images.
- Maintain software/hardware inventory and tracking documentation across multiple locations.
- Make IT hardware and software recommendations to IT Manager based on company needs.
- Troubleshoot issues with clients giving clear and concise solutions.
- Have open communication with the team leader, lead, and staff.
- Use IAP Software to support Exercises and Responses.
- Serve at the direction of the IT Manager and perform additional duties as required.
Working Conditions:
- Minimum of 25% travel may be required throughout both domestic and international.
- Mainly sedentary – sitting for extended periods of time.
- The position may require extended hours beyond the normal working hours to meet company objectives.
- Regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally required to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Vision requirements include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:
- Time management and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- The position requires a basic knowledge of the National Incident Management System, TRG preparedness and response planning systems, and tools.
- The position requires knowledge and capability to work with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office applications.

- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
- Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Education and Experience:
- 2 year College Degree or Training Certification preferred with 1 year experience in related field OR
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of experience in related field
