Orders Manager - Home Health

Job Summary: Orders Manager is responsible for the preparation and timely submission of all RAPS and EOE claims to insurance companies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Upload documents into the EMR to ensure all orders and other documents are in the system in order to bill the episode.

Confirms that all pre-authorizations are available for all disciplines and services provided.

Checking eligibility and benefits when deemed necessary.

Reviewing claims for accuracy and completeness and obtaining any missing information from the Physicians and referral sources.

Works closely with the billing department in the preparation, reviewing, and transmitting of claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing.

Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe – 3-5 days for all outstanding RAPS and 10-14 days for all outstanding Finals Claims.

Researching and appealing denied claims – working together with the billing department.

Answering all patient or insurance telephone inquiries pertaining to assigned accounts.

Running daily outstanding RAPS, EOE, Order reports.

Fax all orders approved for sending to Physicians.

Participate in daily “Stand-Up Meeting” to provide an overview of outstanding orders.

Works closely with the marketing team in order to assist with the outstanding orders requiring Physician signature.

Language Skills:

· Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

· Additional languages preferred.

Skills:

· Comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
