GenCorr, a TRG company and subsidiary of Schwarz Partners is currently seeking a Sales Representative to support our Alsip, IL facility. The Sales Representative position has responsibility for prospecting, selling, and servicing profitable accounts.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
- Make sales and/or obtain orders and/or contracts for goods and services from new and existing customers.
- Service existing customers through regular contact.
- Follow up on customer specifications regarding orders.
- Process all required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparing sales budgets and forecasts.
- Strategize sales growth with General Manager and Project & Design Director.
- Collaborate with Designers, Project Managers, Inside Sales representatives, and Project & Design Director regarding new and existing projects.
- Work with production to ensure customer expectations of quality and deadlines are feasible and deliverable.
- Follow up on past due accounts.
- Some travel required; duties are regularly performed away from employer’s place(s) of business. This position requires a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and the ability to drive.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including federal and/or state required environmental systems, OSHA Safety and Health rules, and standard operating procedures.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma (or GED) or higher.
- Prior work experience in the corrugated industry, knowledge of various paperboard stocks, board grade combinations, POP displays and printing processes.
- Knowledge of corrugated production and converting machinery.
- College degree.
- 2-4 years’ work in a sales role.
- Superior time management skills including the ability to manage multiple issues concurrently and the ability to lead an effective and efficient meeting.
- Excellent customer relations skills including being an active listener, understanding how to appraise situations and needs.
- Ability to work well with and speak to groups of employees, suppliers, and customers.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as productions reports, sales reports, finance reports and other documents and manuals.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
- Excellent and professional communication skills, verbal and written.

Salary : $57,500 - $72,900
