What are the responsibilities and job description for the Christmas Driver position at THE SALVATION ARMY CENTRAL TERRITORY?
Position Summary: The seasonal driver is responsible for delivery and pick up of bell ringers and kettles to the assigned locations in a timely manner. May also help with other seasonal driving responsibilities.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver and pick-up bell ringers and kettles on an assigned route
- Maintain vehicle(s), being sure it is cleaned and prepared for next use
- Keep accurate maintenance and mileage logs, report any safety or maintenance needs for the vehicle
- Communicate any problems to supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- At least 18 years old
Certificates and Licenses:
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers’ license with a chauffeurs endorsement and pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle (MVR) check
- Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
