Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Assist the Kitchen Supervisor and staff in ensuring food is prepared and ready at scheduled times, including assisting in serving meals from the serving line.
- Supervise kitchen helpers, assigning duties as required during absence of Kitchen Supervisor.
- Maintain a high degree of cleanliness and order in the kitchen, including ensuring that all personnel on shift understand the need for personal hygiene, are clean shaven, and wearing clean and appropriate clothing.
- Wear any and all assigned PPE provided, including but not limited to loves, masks, or back guard when doing substantial lifting.
- Must be available for a flexible schedule; to work early shifts, late shifts, and some weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.
