Salary/Grade: $39,480 per year; Exempt - 10

Responsibilities
The Early Childhood Education Center Supervisor will work to ensure a healthy and safe environment for the children and families served through this program. The ECEC Supervisor will promote professional behavior and development for staff members. The ECEC Supervisor will supervise ECEC staff and the implementation of curriculum, including coaching and development of curriculum across the program. The ECEC Supervisor will assist the ECEC Director in all areas of program development, staff training, parent/child relationships, child development milestone achievement reports, ensuring that standards of excellence are maintained and State licensing guidelines, Keystone Stars, and all other governing bodies are adhered to. The ECEC Supervisor will also collect data for "Efforts to Outcomes" research and be involved in the day to day operation of the ECEC (to include, but not be limited to ECEC child registration, fee collection, discussion of milestones and achievements with parents, represent the ECEC Director when the Director is not present).
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with at least one year supervisory experience. Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Able to work with all ethnic and socio-economic populations. Must maintain a professional attitude and approach to problem solving. Must be able to read, write, and clearly communicate in English. Knowledge of or ability to learn MS Office applications. Must have a valid Driver's License; must possess the ability to pass the online Salvation Army Fleet Safety Driver's Test. Current Health Appraisal. Pediatric First-Aid and CPR Training. As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check. Must possess understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army and the RJKCCC.
