Position Type: Regular Full-Time
Pay Range: $79,000.00 - $99,000.00/ Year

About this opportunity:
Under the general supervision of the Divisional Finance Manager, the Financial Systems Analyst manages the financial consolidation process, administers the various financial systems, and compiles and provides financial analysis and reporting activities for the Division. This position is responsible for administering the enterprise and accounting systems that provides transactional, forecasting, assurance and reporting services for the Division. He/she applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information; evaluates systems and processes for data integrity; prepares financial reports for internal and external users.

Key responsibilities:
  • Reviews and analyzes extracted information/reports to ensure compliance with current FASB requirements; contacts the divisional staff regarding errors/omissions in the information provided from the units; provides assistance to the appropriate staff in finding and resolving any reporting errors; provides accurate information regarding current FASB requirements as required.
  • Prepares the required documentation for the annual Division external audit including, but not limited to, financial statements, client assistance schedules, financial statement footnotes, and other financial information.
  • Monitors the collection of data necessary for the development of consolidated financial statements for the division as required by the FASB; designs and maintains a uniform format of information collection documents and procedures; ensures the timely and accurate collection of the required data.
  • Provides on-going systems administrative support for enterprise systems including, but not limited to, Red Kettle Worker, Great Plains, Sage-Intacct, Nexus, CCMS, BBMS and Ceridian.
  • Project manages the implementation of enterprise reporting and accounting systems initiatives for general ledger, budgeting, fundraising, automation and payroll, including but not limited to, Ceridian, ADP GL InfoLink, Dynamic Budgets budgeting platform, and Nexus, a payable/document management service.
What we are looking for in you:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance or a related field, And
  • Three years experience with bookkeeping/accounting and advanced spreadsheet/database production, Or
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to perform routine and complex mathematical computations. Ability to operate and utilize computer systems to generate and record financial data. Ability to work as a part of a team; to receive and follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely fashion. Ability to supervise others; set goals, follow-up on progress of goals/projects and provide needed instruction and motivation to complete tasks.
Work is performed in a normal office environment where there is little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt and the like.
