What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at The Sands Hotel?
Our hotel is looking for someone to work the front desk 11am-10pm three days per week, Sat. Sun & Mon.
Below is a high-level listing of job duties
- Assist guests with check-in process
- Answer hotel phone, help guests with reservation process, answer questions, etc.
- Help to keep laundry going overnight, folding towels and linens
- Empty common garbage bins when full
- Make sure that lost and found items are turned in
- Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures and policies
- Ensure company standards are followed in welcoming and acknowledging all guests
- Apply professional language in communicating with guests and associates
- Provide an immediate report of any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problem, or accidents to the supervisor
- Maintain a good working relationship with all departments
- Provide support to the team to achieve common goals
- Maintain quality standards and expectations
Requirements
- Physical stamina – lots of standing and walking, including several trips up and down stairs.
- Knowledge of basic security protocols and procedures
- Willing to work late hours and most weekends.
- Represent the hotel in a positive and friendly manner at all times
- Possess high school diploma or its equivalent educational level
- Access to reliable transportation and a personal smartphone
