Property Management Accountant (Near I-25 & 6th Avenue)
An established, family owned, commercial real estate firm is seeking an experienced full charge Bookkeeper to assist in accounting functions for:
- 19 commercial properties
- 3 residential dwellings
- 140 Total Units/Tenants
- Over 525,000 total sq footage under management

Responsibilities of the Property Accountant will include:
- Managing full cycle of accounting activities for the company
- Processing and overseeing daily functions of the A/P and A/R
- Maintain accuracy of the general ledger.
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Reconciliation and account research
- Analyze financial information
- Ensure compliance.
- Assist in financial audits and preparation of income tax return worksheets for CPA.
- Assist in completion end of month close procedures.
Qualifications of the Property Accountnant are:
- Minimum of 4 years’ Accounting work experience is essential.
- Associates degree or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field a plus.
- Experience with real estate accounting software such as Yardi or AppFolio helpful.
- Ability to prepare, review and understand financial statements.
- Experience in property management is an advantage.
