We understand that we cannot list every single task that you will do in this position, but below is an overview of our expectations
- Sell additional services and/or general pest control protection to customers via cold-calls, warm leads, onsite at their residence, place of business or similar
- Creatively prospect for new sales opportunities
- Conduct inspections to identify infestations, or conditions conducive to infestations, of wood destroying organisms and/or insects or other vertebrate pests, to make proposals and presentations to obtain sales contracts
- Cover sales leads in assigned branch and/or territory and develop multiple additional service and/or pest control sales leads creatively for each respective lead furnished
- Prepare appropriate job specifications and treating instructions in accordance with existing laws, regulations, and company policy
- Execute contracts on behalf of the company, observing company policies as to terms of sale and payment options
- Manage collection effort on delinquent accounts of personal sales contracts
- Contact customers after service is performed to ensure customer satisfaction and to develop additional prospects
- Report unusual requests or questions from customers and any safety incidents immediately to direct supervisor
- Regularly operate and maintain a company vehicle while keeping the vehicle and other equipment in clean and working order, while adhering to the company Vehicle Policy

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. - Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and can be regularly exposed to extreme temperatures, including wet and/or humid conditions
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- 6-12 months related experience and/or training in sales and dealing with the public; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older and possess an active driver's license with an MVR that meets insurance requirements
- Are willing to work Monday - Saturday and some holidays
- Must earn and maintain state-required training (provided) and pest control licensing
