JOB SUMMARY: The individual in this position will assist in implementing company-wide fuel margin, volume objectives and strategies down to the site level in order to achieve financial targets. This individual will also be expected to analyze, interpret and report on fuel margin and volume trends as well as competitive activity. This position will be responsible for the day to day operations of assigned categories and forecourt management. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Fuel Director with all assigned responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
  • Set and adjust site level fuel prices to meet targeted market share, volume, and gross margin objectives on a daily cadence. Reviews competitive "street pricing" and market level spot prices for all fuels to determine and report on margin and cost trends. Maintain fuel pricing/margin databases which provide pricing and site level information essential for daily pricing decisions and analytical reviews of market/site elasticity.
  • Conduct compliance rides to assess price strategy compliance and identify critical site-level success and competitive attributes that will assist in determining possible strategy revisions. Site level assessments will contemplate all aspects of the store's effectiveness in maximizing the fuel customers' experience and engagement with an emphasis on recommending upgrades and improvements.
  • Works collaboratively with others throughout the organization to achieve corporate goals and strategies.
  • Identify and respond to opportunities, threats, and changes in the marketplace to maximize financial performance.
  • Routine duties to include management of categories and reports, special projects, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and meeting attendance.
  • Weekend and holiday availability, along with schedule flexibility required.
  • Bachelors' Degree or a minimum of two years related work experience in Convenience Retail Sales.
