Rehab Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Specialist to join our dynamic sports chiropractic team. In this role, you will work closely with our chiropractor to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to our active patients, helping them recover from sports injuries and achieve their fitness goals.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Assisting with rehabilitation treatment/activities under the supervision of a licensed Therapist
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed and as directed by the chiropractor.
- Managing cold plunge logistics
- Ensuring and contributing to the cleanliness of the clinic
- Ensuring and contributing to a safe environment
- Documenting notes for Therapist
- Assist with client assessments
- Follow up care
- Other duties as assigned
Patient Care and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing patient care and personal services as directed by doctor. Client/athlete needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of service and care satisfaction.
Communications and Media - Knowledge of social media content, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media by utilizing social media platforms.
Administrative Role - Will cross train to assist with scheduling on an as needed basis, must have excellent communication skills and be willing to interact with patients daily.
Qualifications
- Must have 2 or more years of experience in working as a Personal Trainer or Fitness Coach.
- 2 years of experience working in a sports medicine or rehabilitation setting
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients
- Passion for helping athletes and active individuals reach their full potential
- Must have experience with working with patients with sports injuries
- Must have a BA in Kinesiology
- Must be able to multitask without compromising accuracy in work.
- Must have the ability to provide hands on training, stretches, etc. with patients/athletes
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team
- Must have knowledge of assisted stretching and other recovery techniques
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
- Must be reliable and adhere to punctuality and attendance policy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
